Hello Everyone :smilie_weihn_winki:

I need to buy a domain name with PR3 for my blogspot.

In my blog i have written only about health, lifestyle and home

improvement...

So, when I'm buying a PR3 domain name should I see that the PR3 domain

will suit for my blog or any domain PR3 can i choose for my blog... ??

Kindly help me !

Regards,

Get a domain related to the topic, of course - if you want rankings and not just a "link exchange/link rent" site.

Ok man, if pr is your thing then there are a couple of things you could do. If you are planning to get the domain and redirect to your main site then stop reading.

If you want to maximize the link juice then you need to take the domain and do a way back search. Check the pr on all internal links. Scrape the content and rebuild the domain with a new site using the old indexed and pr'd content. Remember, you must duplicate the urls to these pages. Then link to your main site in the content on the pages with pr. I would not do sitewide or footer links, only anchor text links from content.

Slap some adsense on the site and forget about it. If the site has no internal pages with pr when you do a wayback I would pass on the domain as I have rarely seen a domain that had legit pr only have pr on the root domain. IMO google does not give 2 shits about root domains. Its the pages that make "page"rank.

No buddy..

I think you have got it all wrong here.... what I'm saying his

The person who is willing to sell his PR3 domain name, that's what I want for my blog !

but my question is, when I'm buying a higher rank domain name should I check that

the domain will suit for my blog or any domain PR3 can i choose for my general blog... ??

Well I think you have already answered your question. Any domain can and will be re-indexed over time. So you could used a way off domain name if want to. If you like the domain by its keyword or pronouncibility then get it. If you don't really like the domain but want the pr then you really need to reconsider what is actually going on here. A blog that is a personal blog or at least a blog that you would give a shit about can achieve a pr of 3 relatively easy. Regular posts with social bookmarking can achieve this.

Don't get sucked into pr as it really does not mean shit. If you really want the pagerank of the domain you need to know what keywords the domain ranks for and the ranking position. If these keywords are inline with your blog then you will have an instance seo boost. But if these keywords are unrelated then you will basically get nothing in return but a pretty green bar at a level of 3 to which will disappear once the domain is re-indexed.

Actually.... I want PR for writing reviews and earning from Ad companies..

I just bought a domain with a PR3. After a week, it was PR0. G wiped it clean with the changeover in ownership.

Just my $.02.
