Drupal for landing pages?

Easy to use CMS, I prefer it over WP. I don't see why not but I figured I'd ask.

Drupal is too overkill for a landing page. WP is simple and elegant.

A CMS for a landing page? WHY? If you had a mini-site with articles and were trying to get organic traffic Drupal or Wordpress might make sense. But for just a landing page mock it up in Photoshop, throw it into Dreamweaver and you're done.

Sure, that works for a few pages, but if you want to go the automation route you want a CMS.

There is a open source project called 19pages that uses a text file for a database and loads quick. It is simpler than WP and can be put anywhere as long as you got php.

And now you have to factor in landing page load times for better Google Quality Scores.
