DT hacked - thief tried to sell data of 200,000+ affiliates

come on, everyone knows that last year you could pick up someone's data report on DT by simply knowing his Affiliate ID and having an account with a network... the whole system was coded by monkeys

Back when I started researching DT and other platforms before I built the PeerFly platform, I discovered numerous holes in DT's security. This doesn't surprise me one bit.

Oh, the irony (sent on March 30th):

Hey Chad,
I am contacting you because I have spoken to your AM and you may be interested in what I have to offer. I have a list of 200k unique affiliates that are currently on multiple big networks. I am selling this list, for more information, please call me at 1(877) ###-####.

Thanks,
Eric

Haha nice you got solicited too.

lots of potential danger there IMO especially IF that data has names/org names/exact revenue amounts "earned" which may/may not match up entirely with what said orgs may have claimed to 'earn'...
