I don't understand why a lot of my keywords do not have any impressions. This is over a span of a month too. These are precise, heavy traffic key terms too and not 1 impression? I don't understand this....is this part of the whole quality score thing? I am talking 800 keywords out of 1000 have no impressions....this is so weird to me. What should I do? Improve Score? Get rid of them? Help!
Thanks.

So should I take them out, work on score, once it's get high, add them back in?

PS...You are the best man...you always help me out...it's appreciated!
Blessings!

Heh no problem man :).
Really, most of this info is scattered around this forum though.
Put them into tiny adgroups of related words. Make sure the ad title matches the common words in that groups' keywords, and make sure the keywords also match the landing page as closely as possible.
Then work on creating better ads to bring up the CTR.
But make sure your bids are high enough. None of this matters if they're not.

You can see your QS, there is a drop down box to "view/hide" columns and choose "Quality Score" and you can see where your QS is at. Usually if you have a poor QS you can tell since your bids will be outrageously high.

I actually have this same issue on a particular campaign I've tried to start on Google but, even according to their traffic estimator there's not much traffic although there is traffic for these keywords on Yahoo for $.10 a bid. On Google I don't even get impressions at .30 a bid

I'm thinking it might have to do with raising the bids high at first just to see if there really is traffic or not and then lower bids gradually. Although, not sure.

Quality advice. +1 rep

Check your "Avg. Pos" on a per keyword.

That'll tell you everything. I mean if it's bellow 5th that's the reason.

Then you can do things to improve that, LIKE upping your QS or bidding more.

Your position is everything. Others will tell you that the #2 or #3 spot is the best, and some will mention that the #1 spot gets more clicks than all the other spots combined, but there's one with for sure. No one tells you to be LAST.

We all look at all the ads because we're keeping our eye out for the competition or for our position, but no real searcher goes past the 5th ad.

their is also an ad diagnostic tool near each keyword to see if your ad is showing or not. and supposedly if not, why.
