Hey,

I've been a lurker here for a while. Learned a lot of great stuff. I currently do a bit of Amazon Affiliate stuff, markethealth and a few others. Nothing that great but I do enjoy getting that sale no matter how little it may be.

What I really want is to be able to get into EPN (Ebay Partnership Network). I know this is kinda old news but does anyone have any tips they give me?

I've been rejected 3 times now. Not sure if I should bother to keep trying. Most people say it's not worth even trying anymore unless you are trying to get an account anywhere other than a US account and that sounds sketchy to me.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

EPN like to deal with real businesses, if they think you're in it for a hobby then they'll probably shitcan you. Show them you're serious.

Anyway, this is what worked for me:

-I presented them with one of my ecommerce sites for the sample site
-I applied under my company name, Doe LLC / Doe Pty Ltd / Doe Ltd looks a lot better than John Doe
-I linked them to my real eBay account which has been fairly active over the years (as a buyer mostly!)

Thanks for the useful tips gcad I will put them to good use the next time I try again for a EPN account.

I would like to tell you not to bother with EPN, but there are actually some things for which EPN is by far the best monetization method.

Unfortunately you'll have to live with the worry of being banned at any time with no reasons given, neither if you specifically ask which rule you broke.

No clue how hard it is now to get in, but it's worth trying.

EPN is not at all fun unless you consider it "found" money. They frequently pull the rug out from under people with genuinely good sites with often no explanation. So don't build your empire around it.

Their mysterious Quality Click Pricing is anyone's guess, and my EPC hovers around $0.06 but once in a great moon shoots to $0.15 or even as high as $0.39. The problem is that it can dip even lower than $0.06 and then you stay up late at night worrying when you'll get the dreaded "e-mail" that bans you forever from the program.

For this reason many of the people that do manage to keep it going do so by networks of very thin sites that do not take them much time to build, and which they also monetize using other means. This way when they get the dreaded "e-mail" they won't be crushed.

I've been suspended a couple times, but re-instated promptly each time after clearing it up. At the end of the day, I have traffic that they want, so they pay me for it. Pretty simple. I know a lot of people have abandoned the program (either voluntarily or because they were term'd) but I still promote it pretty heavily.

Good luck getting approved. They probably only approve affiliates at certain times of the year. Just keep applying. Having a quality site to show doesn't hurt.

NVM, that video sucks. Posted it before I watched it. Cliff notes: Have a good site, be detailed in your app. Less than 10% of all applicants are approved each day.
