Ecom solution that supports this?

I'm after a ecom solution which allows multiple sellers sort of like an Amazon marketplace. We handle transactions, customer service etc but the suppliers get their own logins to add products, they handle their own fulfilment. We need to be able to assign access levels to clients so they can only add products and run reports relating to their own products so they cant access other clinets details or modify the site design or configuration.

Anyone know of a product like this? Needs to be solid but not hugely expensive.

It's a snap with Drupal. I did it for a client. We had the accesses set up for sellers to manage their own parts of the store, plus additional layers of access control to allow different people to manage/administer groups of sellers by region. The granular access control built into Drupal make is a snap, once it is all set up, after spending a year wracking your brain how to figure out that damn CMS, or paying some programmer far too much to do it, and spending an f'ing fortune on a slick theme.

I don't know of anything that does it out of the box for a reasonable price.

Thanks guys. Drupal sounds interesting although last time I looked at Drupal for something I didnt like it much, mainly the theming and we would prefer to do this ourselves rather than outsource it. We have found this Multi-Vendor Shopping Cart Edition of CS-Cart Ecommerce Software Solution which looks interesting, anyone got any experience with it?
