I just got done speaking with Engaged, and we both realized it's silly to argue and fight. I've unbanned him and he's agreed to act normal. We were supposed to have some long phone convo about it, but we both recognized early on that arguing about shit was stupid, so we deaded our situation right away, and it's all water under the bridge now.

I'm glad we could finally come to an agreement, and we were both dicks to eachother, which is something that I am working on changing for myself, and he appears to be doing the same.

It's good to make peace with people you dislike or think you dislike. This is just one of the many changes I have seen happen in the last week or so since the riots of WF happened.

Some people fear change, and when you get through all of the nasty shit in your system, at the end of the day you realize it's done nothing good for anyone. Accepting your faults and apologizing is a tough thing to do, but ulitmately beneficial for everyone.

So I guess where I'm going with this is that I want to thank everyone for their support, advice, and understanding, even those that were deemed as enemies of this place for a week. Lerch and Engaged have shown sides of them I never knew existed, and they are both standup guys who I misjudged from the start. Thanks guys, you really opened my eyes to a lot of things that need to change here, and in general for me as a person. I'm greatful for having you guys as members and friends, and respect you both more than you know.

As Ari from Entourage says.. "let's hug it out bitch".
 


Its good to hear that you've got this all sorted out Jon, After reading your post on your blog I was not sure how things were going to pan out.

Assuming you are talking about the whole fighting with friends issue and not something else.

It's nowhere near done, but we are definitely moving on the right track now and getting a lot more done than ever before, and that's the best I can hope for and be thankful for right now, so I'll take it!
 
Great, so are you two going out for pizza then? You can count me out of it thanks though. :D
 
Engaged pays more than I quote him for on projects and has referred me, he's a damn good man in my book :thumbsup:

Mike, you know engaged and jdog have been going steady, but now jon is in on it so you know they will be feeding each other extra cheezy pizza a troi :frenchman:.
 
As shitty as all this has been it's just going to make wickedfire better. The guys were picking at some issues on the #jon channel that convoluted what is really important.

Alot of us got lazy and put too much burden on a few of our star members. I want you guys to realize there was alot more appreciation and respect there then what was being properly communicated. Some new guides were put up recently as a reaction... just too late.

Lingle came down hard on me but I know it was pretty lame for me to push too hard to get into a place where I wasn't welcome. The only reason I did is because I didn't want to lose you guys and it felt shitty to get closed out and labeled a fucktard.

Eli (another member I have a huge amount of respect for) was right when he was talking about WF and the other forum having their place. Now the guys have an area to share their insider info and scripts and hopefully in time they can hang out here for the benefits WF provides.

If engaged and lerch come around, maybe you can work things out with chris too.
