Sponsoring is easy. Consistent delivery and a solid business relationship is where it's at.

But hey, if all you want is to see girls in goo by all means go for the naughty boy sponsors. Me? I look for a good business relationship with networks. But then my interest is in getting paid.

Not to say these networks probably dont trade/buy affiliate contact lists, but I talked to you a while ago about arbitrage and tried to refer you to their parking system. They probably have your AIM from that... Just call me Spammy Spammerson.

Not like i am trying to kiss epi's ass, i work with a bunch of networks, but for the record, they did pay me yesterday for april. Small amount (low xxxx), but just wanted to see if they in fact would pay.

What the fuck? Seriously there is something really shady about Epicenter. I called it a few weeks ago in another thread when I said they had called me up saying i had signed up with them about a year ago.

I never did and it really freakin bothers me that some how they got all my info.

Doesn't this bother anyone else that there's a "network" out there doing this shit?

Exact same thing happened to me. I asked when I supposedly signed up but they couldn't give a date. Thought I was losing my memory.

Did you sign up for a party in SF at adtech? i think they were a sponsor which is probably why they have your information

not that you can directly relate one to the other, but I've been in their parking program for nearly 2 yrs and have been paid every month.

Including your SSN/EIN?

Kim just sent an email to me today:
I wanted to reach out to you today and see if you were still interested in running offers through Epicenter? I noticed that you haven’t logged into your account since you created it back in March.

If you are still interested, but have misplaced your login info, I have included it below:

Epicenter Network
ID: 55XXX

Thanks,

I decided to check it out to see how they were swinging this. Basically they give you ID number that they've assigned to you( without you signing up.) and you have them email you your password and when you log in there's just nothing filled out about you except your name, email and phone number. For SSN/EIN it says "documentation not received"

Still not sure where they got my info but I guess nothing illegal is going on.

That being said it's still sneaky and shady as HELL. There's no way a company like this would EVER get my business.

I understand that you need to market yourself and can get creative doing it but instead of saying things like "You haven't logged into your account since you created it back in March" Why don't you say something like: "Hey you. We really want your business. You know those forms you usually have to fill out to sign up to a network? Well we've taken the liberty of doing all the grunt work for you and all you have to do is sign in and look at our offers!!" <--creative, edgy, and thinking outside the box. Marketing tactics all of which I can respect.

OUT AND OUT Lying to me me, I will not.

so which network gonna be the first one to recruit affiliates with flogs?

This kind of practise is totally unacceptable under my point of view. They are assuming that everyone here is stupid to the point that would have not remembered whether they signed up to a network or not.

Please don't go around using people's personal information and then came back saying: Hey friend, what happened to you??? We miss you!! At least be honest and up front...:angryfire:
