I now respect BB Wolf opinions

I read some mixed opinions on this conversion to QCP

There is a preview available for what you would have earned. Go to reports and report type > QCP Preview.

Under the current system I have an EPC of $0.33

Under the new system, $0.14

Over 50% Drop

Affiliates are likely to see a 50% cut in earnings across the board, but they probably account for less than 30% of ebay's traffic. Even with the cut it's not like they will all jump ship, and even if they do that's still a 20% net gain for ebay. Proving once again the conservative sandwich heavy portfolio pays of for the hungry investor!

Quoted from the phpbay forums for truth:

The more I think about it, the more it doesn't really matter . . .

I think of it like this . . . we are choosing to play ebays game, ebays rules, and rule number 1 is that Ebay can change the rules whenever . . .

So you either choose to adapt or just get out . . . stop worrying about whether or not you are getting short changed and just play their game if you want to get paid.

thats my $0.02

In my case, I just need to double the amount of sites / work I've done and I'll be back to where I am today... back to where I am today. Sorry had to say it twice

yep, cut 50% for me too.
CPC EPC = .14 - same as everyone else.

cpc = static bullshit

time to find my own products to push

Another good point I found on the actual EPN forum, thoughts??
I wonder if this is in response to the taxation laws that are taking effect where states are ruling that affiliate sales create a legal nexus in a state, so sales tax must be collected. If they're paying CPC, then it isn't exactly an affiliate sale anymore, is it?

edit

nevermind that steve hartman came in a few posts later to say

And even though we're now paying out on a CPC basis, this is still very much an affiliate program.

Are you guys looking at the differences in all your campaigns? Or are you just looking at the over all? In other words is there a 50% drop in all of your campaigns? or just some while others stayed the same or increased?

There's a message there.

Across multiple campaigns I'm looking at an average of ~50% losses. I understand these reports are from the 18th of August to current.

The worst campaign is falling 57.3% and the least damaged one is falling 49.2%
