I'm sure most of you got those two e-mails from EPN outlining the new pay structure. For people already signed up, it goes into effect on October 1st.
Obviously this "click quality" deal is a fancy way to take earnings away from affiliates driving clicks to get the cookie embedded but not directly causing sales.
They are measuring the quality of new users too so we can't expect to get a flat rate like in the past. The earnings supposedly trickle in as that user makes purchases.
Although I hate CJ, I used to get better bonuses in that era and it also seemed like I used to get more sign ups. EPN has a slicker, better interface to work with but ultimately I started earning less from my traffic with that change. Now that EPN is doing another overhaul I'm concerned that it will be tougher to bank with them and they will eventually land up being stingy as fuck with affiliates like amazon.
