No trial, no jury. No rehabilitation. Such is the reality of falling under monopolist's Google's wrath. The Empire in its infinite wisdom and mercy has decided that your punishment shall be death.

Rebels Strike Back.

As part of its enforcement of a lifelong Adwords ban Google uses many tracking mechanisms (some of which are very privacy invasive and I'm sure barely legal) to associate your new accounts with your banned account and bans them as well (or just doesn't ever give any impressions to them).

This checklist is a list of factors Google uses to associate your new accounts with your old ones.

1. User's IP address.
2. User's cookies.
3. User's Flash cookies.
4. Domains advertised on banned account.
5. IPs of domains advertised on banned account (not sure about this but possible)
6. Similarity of your new ads to ads on your banned account.
7. Similarity of your new keywords to keywords on your banned account.
8. Similarity of Campaign, Ad Group and Ad Names.
9. Credit cards used.
10. Personal and billing info of the account.
11. Cross-referencing data across all Google properties, including Gmail, Google Search, Adsense, Google Analytics, etc.
12. Cross-referencing data across all Google toolbars and any add-ons.
13. Cross-referencing Google Chrome data if you have the misfortune of using it.
14. Data collected by Google Adwords Editor.

If you know of any others or think any of the ones listed are bullshit, please contribute!

I'd say the only real factors are:

Domain advertised (e.g., if you linked direct to a rebill that they deemed to be scammy, direct linking to that in a new account will flag it, too.) Otherwise, change your lander domain.

Credit card used + billing address.

That's it. I had an account banned, linked in an MCC to other accounts that were not banned, and I'm not the only one I know of that had the same exact thing happen. With a proper MCC that truly looks like an agency, the other accounts (with different CC and billing info) were unscathed. Login IPs were the same, as were tracking redirect domains. Campaigns in the banned account (though not necessarily the campaigns that were the cause for the ban), were ported over to standby accounts (in and out of the same MCC), and went live the next day, and are live a year later.

If you didn't have a good MCC setup, login IP might also be a factor.

You're being paranoid.

many people often overlook the simple fact that running several (low level) lost leader campaigns (IE - SEO services around {'location' of your company} driving to some cliche white guy black guy hand shaking stock photo laden 'corporate' site(s)) and such can be very good diversions.

pass the human sniff test versus 100% affiliate links/campaigns ya know

13. Cross-referencing Google Chrome data if you have the misfortune of using it.

I found this interesting. Looks like I'm going back to ol' Firefox.

That's pretty cool.... but Johu is correct. I've done the same without MCC's even. I really think it's the billing info that gets you.

From personal experience I think it's just using the same credit card that gets you nuked. If you use different credit cards, but same billing info, you might survive a little longer. My 2nd account is still intact and it's been 2 months since my ban. Same billing address/name etc, just different cards.

Then again, it might be the severity of the ban. I got banned for iframing and collecting user data (in a shady way lol). I've heard stories about guys who even touch one of their friends accounts, even on THEIR computer, somehow gurgle backtraces it back to them... possibly from an accidental Gmail login or something.

I think its just the CC and Billing info.

Im using 4 gurgle accounts (adwords, gmail, analy, optimizer etc etc) all with the same IP for over 2 years now. (without MCC)

Only one account got banned recently due to other issues.

And i think uploading a "banned" campaign with 345353 adgroups straight from the editor to a 2 day old account will cause a flag?

Anyone?

Yeah , why in the world do you make simple things complicated ? I use google chrome and have no probs at all . You just gotta use different billing info if you want more than one account . Nuff said .

Most of what OP said is common sense and is true, but 6,7,8 don't matter at all, unless you're in a small, small niche.

I have an AMEX which I can get employee cards. First 11 numbers are the same or so.

I got banned from adwords and this is what I did (it did not work):
- New IP (VPN)
- New name, address, phone, card, and card number (exact last 5 digits or so)
- New user account on computer. This probably isn't needed but saves the grief of deleting cookies/flash cookies.
- New domain (same host)

I think that's it. Did this about 4 - 5 times, and my ads NEVER ran, and the account went to under review. I couldn't figure it out.

I finally realized it was the card. Google recognized the first 11 or so numbers, and flagged my account right away. I used my business bank account to pay, and my ads ran! I was so fricken happy. They don't monitor as many small things that I was starting to think they did.

New adwords accounts really are pretty easy to obtain.
- New IP
- New name/address etc
- New card - Different name. Address doesn't matter because you can put in a fake address under billing preferences. Most cards just the zip and numbers of the address need to be the samethe same. OR a new bank account with new business
name/personal name.
- New domain
- No logging in to other google accounts

Obviously cookies need to be deleted if you do, including flash cookies. Creating an account solely for the purpose of adwords is a good idea, so you don't have to worry about cookies etc.

To everyone saying OMG WHY U POST THIS INFO U CREATE MORE COMPETITION OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG - go fuck yourself. If you're not expanded in to any other verticals outside of affiliate shit (which I assume is 99% of people here), that's your problem.

Well you said in post that you indeed obtain new card with new card number, or while you saying "new card" along with it's number and new address, name, phone, I assume that new card will be indeed under new name and will have new number, so I really not sure why you was banned after all.

So in your "failed" tries it was new card but your same name ? or what ?

Could you explain lol ?

- New user account on computer. This probably isn't needed but saves the grief of deleting cookies/flash cookies.

So each Windows user has his own set of cookies and flash cookies and Browsers/Internet Sites can only access cookies of the currently active user? Are you sure about this?

P.S. If yes, great idea! :)

Numbers of the address you mean house, apartment, suite numbers?
