Ok seriously...WTF with Facebook.

Countless times I have written ads that follow the guidelines for what you can and can't say and the ads get rejected for what I am offering.

Facebook says no toolbar downloads but yet there is an offer out there right now for Facebook tattoo toolbar.

Facebook says no provocative images...
I put an image of an attractive woman in a yellow swimsuit who is holding a glass of orange juice and standing in a pool. Its not like she has her legs spread with a dildo shoved up her snatch...WTF?? Yet, there are plenty of ads with women in PROVOCATIVE outfits with their titties about to pop out and those are allowed? Or dudes with rippling muscles (im not gay, im just saying) and that's not considered provocative?

I guess the dipshit thats rejecting my ads is either a fat assed woman who failed at dieting or someone who has a hard on for me and my ads.

Don't fucking send me guidelines for my ads if you AREN'T gonna look at them either when you approve ads that clearly break them. FUCK YOU...
Guess you don't want my ad money...

Anyone else faced these issues? Any work arounds?

A closer reading of their guidelines reveals "at facebooks sole discretion". They built that in on purpose. They can do whatever they want with your ads and its backed by that phrase in their guidelines.

Stop whining. Rebuild, resubmit and hope for the best.

I had a cup of coffee and thought about it. I'm being a cry baby and we need less of that in WF. I just had to get that shit off my chest with a good old rant. So it's time to cowboy up and get this shit accomplished.

FB is frustarting like that, it's stressful at times I agree. I'm just used to it, if I only have to submit an ad once to get it approved I'm happy. I always save ads so resubmitting is a breeze and very often I have to resubmit the same ad a couple of times before it's approved. In some ways I don't even mind because I know while I bear it and don't mind anymore FB is driving my competetion crazy and making them leave FB hopefully.
 
I bitched at my rep because couldn't get ANY dating ads through with pictures of chicks wearing turtle-necks for shits sake - She replied "you should be able to get more ads through now"

I haven't had a problem since with my dating ads

PS: FB notoriously hates diet ads (I've had a VERY hard time getting anything diet thru even with the best cloaking evar)
 
mike and profitaddiction - thanks for the responses...I'm gonna contact my rep and get some help getting my stuff through. It's time to backdoor it and ask for some assistance.

I can't help but think that some disgruntled fatso slob is denying my diet ads...makes me LOL.
 
Facebook learned Arbitratry Ad Approval (tm) from Google. I have lost count of the times I try to submit something tame / legit that gets rejected instantly - while dozens of other similar ads are blatantly disobeying multiple guidelines and allowed to run for months.

It's sadly just part of the game and is one of the hassles we have to deal with on FB and G.
 
Remember everyone is having to deal with this same shit. Remember that at the very least, FB advertising would be more expensive if it was easier.

Yeah...thanks for that helpful comment vlad. If you had been smart and looked above, you would have already seen that I stated my "getting over it" and my "ceasing of whining". If you dont have anything relevant to add to the post or are too lazy to read the prior threads, then why bother. Go review your analytics.

i have ads rejected and accepted using the same pictures and when i ask why they are rejected... i get that the image is provacative... and i just resubmit over and over
 
Cool. Thanks for adding your experience with FB ads. I was hesitant to resubmit because of the bold, red warning that says if you continue to send in ads like this your account could be banned, and I don't really want that for obvious reasons.

When you contact your rep for stuff, will he go into your account and start looking at all your ads in there and possibly reject shit that slipped by other approvals?
 
It's possible. It probably depends on the rep...I think generally they're the ones supposed to be on OUR side, but that's not always the case, and it's pretty fucking annoying when they're working against you.

There's obviously gotta be a trick outside of cloaking, possibly having a rep? I've tried to jump into niches that I've seen live on FB, even tried a few identical ads to see if there is something tiny that I'm missing.

The bottom line is that absolutely nothing gets through. I've tried different styles of cloaking (redirects, iframing etc.) and even cloaked with an assload of different "TOS friendly" content. Anyone know exactly what type of clients or content they're actually looking for? Products for sale, brick and mortar companies, lead collection pages?

I've been bugging out though, maybe its really just the rep that I'm missing? Would appreciate a pointer or even PM if anyone cares to put my mind to rest for a bit.
