profitaddiction: I had that happen to me before. The wrong bid that was used was the suggested bid. Since that happened, I always sort new campaigns by bid to see if any new ones have increased bids.

MrGreen;
I know another update is coming very soon but I don't know if you guys or anyone else have seen this behavior with 1.9.2:

After submitting a few campaigns, the script starts to create a new campaign for each single ad that I have set up. So instead of creating campaign "A" containing ads a1, a2, a3, a4 - it creates campaign A with a1, then a new campaign B with b1, then another campaign C with c1 if you know what I'm trying to say. This way it ends up with X campaigns instead of 1 new campaign containing X ads.

Also, another problem I ran into was that it sometimes skips entering title, and description entirely - jumping straight to country, and then Facebook tells me I cannot leave those fields blank.

Sorry if these bugs have been brought to your attention already but I thought I'd mention them here.

Other than these hiccups, the script still works great!

Hey dude,

I have a feeling that hiccup has something to do with Facebook fiddling with their platform today. I'm not sure what was up with Facebook today but it wouldn't load for me sometimes. And new features popped up then went away.

Hopefully this issue should go away tomorrow. If it doesn't I will look into it.

And yes there is a big update written from scratch that is coming soon.

Hope that helps.

Yep I'm getting this as well!

the problem I just started getting is if I try to create a new ad, Facebook is autofilling all the targeting/adcopy/image from the previous ad I just created. So the tool is trying to move to the next ad, but all the stuff is already filled it. so it trys to fill it again. and wouldnt you know, it's messed up. fb needs to ad stuff like day-parting, not garbage updates like they've been doing

Yeah I swear it's just a plot to piss off affiliates. Day-partying vs 100s of tweaks you don't notice, cool.

Seeing this too. Fills out the keywords, then submits, goes to create new ad and its already filled out.

I'm getting the same create new campaign for every ad bullshit too. They made the "Use Existing Ad" option a clickable link which throws off the script. Why FB implements these retarded changes (besides trying to fuckup the people with the script) is beyond me.

Now the fucking thing isn't doing the create new campaign shit. Sorry Lorenzo, I know it's not easy trying to fix a moving target, but seems like they're messin around quite a bit with their stupid platform.

Thanks for the kickass support though so far, stoked that you've taken over.

looks like you know about the bugs already. looking forward to new updates.

I actually just tested the big update 10 minutes ago. 10 ads in 10 seconds is all I can say. Functionality wise it works. We are just tweaking the layout and doing some testing to iron out all bugs.

its funny how many factors can affect posting ads on facebook in general. having other windows active (like chat windows), fb erroring on the image upload, using synergy on multiple machines etc...
