I'm running alot of campaigns but having trouble keeping the traffic coming to them.

for example...If i want to test 6 different ad images but the text is the same, do you run all 6 ads at the same time or 1 by 1?

I've been running them all at once but now i think that's a mistake as i would be competing with myself in terms of cpc when the ctr is established with those ads.

how many impressions is considered to be a good test for conversions, let's say i'm promoting a product that costs $30. I've been running $30 worth of ads. Is that enough? too much or too little?

thanks for any help

It depends. How much do the clicks cost? Whats the CTR for the ads? Going by total clicks instead of total clicks is the proper way.

my usual rule of thumb for impressions is 1,500+ with no clicks and it's a dead ad. I always test at least 50 ads at once, and it's worked out really well for me thus far. Spending $30 is not enough to have a sufficient test for your ads. I'll usually spend around $100 which will give each ad a fair chance at getting impressions.

Hope that helps!

Don't worry about competing with yourself. Just run as many ads as you have and either lower bids or pause the ads with low CTR's. I never have a problem with this method and profit $x,xxx every day.
