Sorry if there's already been a thread but I didn't see one...
I just logged onto facebook and got a little popup asking me if I wanted to activate my email account. It was <my facebook URL>@facebook.com. Emails go straight into message inbox, and those messages already forward to your regular email as it is.
This could open a whole new world of mailing/advertising, especially when you know that every facebook URL likely has an identical email associated with it.
