Military coup under way in Fiji - news.uk.msn.com

Just wanted to ask, if any of you guys are christian, would you mind praying for my friends in Fiji? They're working as missionaries over there, and were (I believe) fairly close to Suva.

oh snap. I pray your friends stay safe. Wasn't there some other small little country in Asia that recently had a coup? I think it was Nepal.

Ok, so the military took over the government? Isn't the government supposed to be in charge of the military? That's not very good governing right there.

Not sure why you are worried. The takeover was bloodless. The folks in Fiji have a lot of respect for missionaries so they should be ok.

It happens every few years there. I was over there during one of the coups.
I wouldn't worry too much about anyone's saftey - life goes on as usual for most.
