Hi guys. I have a forum dedicated to exposing fraudulent "trading education" purveyors ("learn how to trade forex and make zillions per day" and similar crap). I've had it since 2004 and it has some PR. It gets 6K uniques per month. Mostly US traffic.

Anyway, the forum was supposed to be a non-profit. But the problem is that I never put in the effort needed to generate enough activity on the forum to make it grow. So there's barely anyone posting or new members joining. Tons of readers though, cause it does have content indexed by Google.

So... the way it's now is a waste. It neither performs its non-profit function of educating the public to the extent that is possible (although 6000K people a month learning about scams is a success in some way but it could be so much more). Nor it makes money because it doesn't have any ads, even though it's in one of the most highly priced niches.

So... basically, I'm looking for someone who likes the idea of exposing these frauds and can breathe life into this forum. Of course, it should be someone who is skillfull at getting forums going. Unfortunately, I don't have time to do it myself.

If you wanna take it up... you can put ads on it and monetize it however you want and keep 100% of the revenue. That would be your reward for getting it banging. My reward is simply seeing it succeed and seeing a lot of people avoiding ripoffs due to the forum.

Let me know if you're interested either here or by PM. But you gotta be REALLY interested cause this WILL take time, and you gotta have time for it.

If I were you I would just throw some adsense ads up on the site, and throw all the money you make from it back into PPC advertising.

That would not be easy, bubbles, because the site is in one of the most expensive PPC niches. Meaning trading/trading education/forex/futures/etc. From one point of view, it's great cause ads on the site will bring high-priced clicks - on the other hand it makes buying PPC traffic quite difficult. So I think traffic acquisition should be pre-dominantly non-PPC in this case.

I would put adsense ads anyway, and maybe join some other forums and make some posts good with a link to your own forum in your signature
this might bring some real posters from the other forum

another thing you might do is running one of those contest like "best member of the month" (and have a link to it in your signe on the other forum) and give some of the adsense revenue as prize

just a couple of ideas, but I suck at starting forums, tried only once and failed
