Finding Affiliate Programs

Hey guys,

I read Andrew Wee's very helpful tutorial on monetizing blogs and I also read that tutorial for finding niches through google adword searches on wikipedia. So now my last step before I'm in business is to find a good affiliate.

What is a good resource for doing this? Are there any good affiliate directories out there? I've seen some so called directories but they seem to be affiliates themselves, so who know what programs they are pumping up (or omitting!)


Also any general tips for choosing an affiliate? Or do we generally just go with whoever pays the most or seems to have the best product?

I use the one in my sig the most, they pay the most and have the best customer service

also, one of the bigger ones which is good to join is azoogle

I have tried several different networks. You just have to find what works well for you. So far I have only had luck with one of the smaller networks, but it really depends on your site.

It really depends on the niche. Different networks tend to do better with certain verticals...check some out and see what you find!

I'd put service high on the list of priorities too. Generally the smaller companies like Copeac etc have more time for their affiliates than the big ones like CJ do.
