Finding Offers

I'm new to cpc and I'm having a hard time finding offers. I've been rejected by all the cpa networks I've applied too (not too sure of the difference between cpc and cpa). I'm in clickbank and cj but I'd like to find other offers. I wanna run my first campaign but how do I find quality offers before i start spending money on traffic?

CPC = Cost Per Click
CPA = Cost Per Action

Im a newb as well, so could be blind leading the blind, but from what I hear have you tried calling the affiliate company? Do you have any websites you could show them?

I've talked to a few of them but they're all looking for experienced affiliates. I do have a website, it's very basic tho. thanks for the response.

cpc is through the search engines and such and cpa is through the affiliate networks?
