For your RSS feed niche sites ("Shooting Star Sites"), do you prefer using Syndic8.com to find .XML feeds for you or do you just Google search for a site based upon your specific niche and then use a service like FeedFire.com for HTML Scrapping (converting the page into RSS)?
I find hunting down the 'Perfect RSS Feed' is the hardest part, especially when most feeds have such a wide area of discussion, even if it is on one specific topic like 'business' it may not talk at all about the niche I am looking for in that business. So filtering an RSS feed down to exactly what I am looking for seems like a good idea.. Maybe I should try combining multiple feeds and use the old-fasioned method of hard work since these feeds may only give me a couple new articles per month with my specific topic. Anyways, not expecting anybody to give out their top secret methods, I guess I'm just wondering if anybody uses a paid service to do all of this work for them? And if you do keep it 100% free, any tips for finding those feeds in the desired target market are greatly appreciated.
