for every pirated copy downloaded, that's $147 less that the proprietor of that software receives for his efforts.
he may even be the programmer himself, all that hard work and you up and say he doesn't deserve to be compensated. for shame.
even if he isn't the programmer, those sales fund the money the proprietor would use to pay for his programmers.
see that neat little box, you think the box factory printed out a custom box just for him to use on his sales page? no! a designer had to do that in photo shop or gimp. if he had to do it in gimp, then you are worse than hitler, because gimp is a pain in the ass to do shit like that.
but now, this skilled designer who rose above the adversity of having to design with gimp, may not get hired to make another box when a new version of tweet attacks comes out, because of all the sales lost. and he will never make enough money now to afford photo shop. thanks a lot, dream killer.
and all those testimonials, i can't read them without crying now, because the funding for this program may very well be compromised.
new versions will not be funded, and these people who were brought such joy with this miracle of software engineering, will suffer a huge loss, and will not be able to pay a therapist to help them cope, because the software that made their revenue streams attainable was torn from their clutches by a single post you made on this forum.
these people will not go out now and buy other goods because of the revenue lost from losing the software, the programmer and designer are now broke too, and cannot buy goods at stores as a result.
the business at these stores slows down due to the decrease in business, and they must let go of some employees to make up for it.
this cycle will continue until the economy collapses, and everyone can thank you for that.
