Hey Forex Affs/Product Sellers,
I have a client I helped put up a site/ebook, and the initial response was good (we ran traffic... expensive, but it converted at about 2.7% with paid search), so we threw it up on CB, and it now sits there.
So this is where the story gets "different." The guy I helped out is actually a legitimate trader. I know that's hard to believe, but the fact is 22% of traders actually make money. (Reference Los Angeles Times and Forex for an article stating the case.)
He leases out his EAs privately, and is doing pretty well with them -- FXHEDGE SOLUTIONS. (Mods, please note, I am not putting this link in for any other reason than to show people in the niche that the products this guy creates are legit.) They are not really EAs per se since he manages and tweaks them. He actually runs them on a master/slave system for his clients. For those who aren't familiar, he basically is able to modify the programs at will in order to manage market conditions.
This is where I'm at. He's indifferent to the product we put up. He doesn't really care what I do with it since he's generating leads offline. I know it has value. I don't really care to get in the SEO game that is Forex because my wallet is nowhere near the size of an IB's. But to just do nothing with the product seems foolish.
I wanted to reach out to people on this site (in the niche) who are IBs or lead generators. I'm considering moving the site on Flippa, or simply giving away the product as a lead gen tool.
Any thoughts/assistance would be great. A JV option is cool. I'm considering one other offer at the moment.
