Man oh man.

Had shitloads of these and sold them for few dollars when it wasn't popping, this was 2-3 years ago, I mean I STILL have a few left, but nothing compared to that time, but the ones I have are still in the low to mid x,xxx range, how about you guys?

ANY 4 letter domains?

Fuck, the 3 letters are going beyond the peakness

It's fascinating... I own a shit ton of domains but not a single LLL.com or LLLL.com unfortunately. The difference between a 3 or 4 letter domain that contains "bad" letters for the Chinese market and one that does not is essentially 10x. A few years ago I would have assumed that BCDE.com and JKLM.com would be similar in value, now one is worth $400 and the other $3500. The prices of NNN.com, NNNN.com, and even NNNNN.com are truly shocking. For example: in the last week alone 399.com sold for $822k and 10023.com sold for $50k. There is some heavy investing happening in this direction too, in the past couple months all the NNNNNN.com's, NNNNN.net's, LLLL.org's etc. have been purchased.

Just a few years ago nobody wanted these 4 letter random letters with z,q, etc. (basically with no A,E,I,O,U,V)

You could pick them up all day for $10-15 each. One could have spent just $5k for 500, those 500 are now worth $1,000,000

$2000+ each is the bottom floor now for most.

I wouldn't pay those prices now as the frenzy seems to have topped for the moment and is way too volatile. Chinese went nuts like they did with Bitcoin.

I also had a number of these domains, but sold them because I thought they weren`t of much value. Joke`s on me now, who would have thought?
Like pocketrockets mentioned above me, I wouldn`t recommend investing now because this is an economic bubble and it will eventually pop.

10023.com's high price may be the result of it being one of the ZIP codes for Manhattan. 10023, New York, NY - In Photos: Homes In The 50 Most Expensive Zip Codes - Forbes

Chinese are invading and taking money out of China via domains, bitcoins and similar commodities. My bet is on 6 number .com to take off soon as well. They are already selling for nice sums and they will climb much higher.

Namepros, Sedo, Flippa... Or you can send them over with your expected prices and we might make a deal as well :)

Nice, I still have a few decent 4 letter domains from years ago. What is a good place to price/sell domains these days?

What market are they selling for at those prices? Hard to believe...

LLLL.com domains are actually INSANELY liquid, I have never seen anything like it... the Chinese have turned them into a commodity, it doesn't matter what platform you use to sell, you can sell in a couple days no problem for close to the going rate.

I have only one, PSXA.com. I think the LLLL domains which have premium letters and also which are pronounceable have some demand. If you have a pronounceable LLLL.com, that is going to fetch you at least low $$$$. The others like mine don't seem to have any demand in the market.

I'll buy it off for you for $300 lol

This one is not a chinese premium because it has the letter A inside and the going rate for such is $250-$500

Looks like these haven't changed from years ago. + godaddy, namejet for auctions... I have had some offers before on parked ones on sedo, but waren't good enough. Lower XXX for mygf.org. I had some offers for o-xo.com and ssd2.com but I want to develop them eventually. :) Usually people just reach out when they really want something, sold one for 7K a while back through email request.

Do they have any real value? I mean not speculation or bubble value?
I would assume any real value would be for companies that are named by these letters? Or company name is 4 words and first letters of those words in the domain. Beyond that?
But since there are "bad" letters we can leave that out (otherwise why there would be bad letters, companies may have a name starting by that letter as well).
So it looks like no use and just speculative bubble... When will it burst?

The last LLLL.com I got I used for jump links for misc projects due to being nearly free, and just short domains... hope I have some left now, LOL

Looks like I only kept the #LL.org domains, and only a handful at that... oh well :)

I remember when i had over 20 of LLLL.com's and literally not worth much, but I remember who i bought some premium letter ones that went for beyond cheap, that guy must be super pissed, he had over 40 LLLL.com, damn dawg

no wonder their economy is tanked

We need to think of more worthless digital crap we can fool the Chinese into thinking has value

gmail, aol, yahoo, and msn email addresses without vowels?
