Ok..I'm still green in the PPC game. I don't mind admitting that. Up to this point, I've always done everything with good SEO, with the exception of PPC & a few BANS style sites, but when it comes to doing PPC on a typical affiliate offer, I'm just sucking ass.

In particular, I'm working on one of the free iPhone offers at Neverblue. I feel like I'm hitting all the right keywords, my ad copies are pretty good, and I've been working on landing page variations. I've made sure to have small targeted keyword/ad groups as well.

My problem is that I'm just not getting any clicks, so it can't be a landing page issue. I'm bidding in the .20 to .25 cent range for most of the keywords, with an average position of around 4. Here's a screen shot of some of my ads I'm running. I know there's a way to make money from this offer, but I can't find the solution. If anyone has any ideas or needs some more info or stats to offer suggestions please let me know. Any help is appreciated.

I thought maybe I wasn't bidding high enough to get decent positions...or maybe my keywords are not getting it done. What do you think of those ad's?

all of these ads are probably failing, not just yours.

think about all the people that want a free iphone, but would never search for it. try using the iphone as the reward, not the click bait.

i've never tried zip submits on the search network... but that's probably where you're failing. choose a better and higher paying offer.

Yeah...this one is an email submit..paying a buck 25 per.

I'm getting a few clicks..but I'm at about a .50 CTR on the keywords with 1500-2000 impressions per day. Maybe trying to capture people searching for free phones is the problem. I personally have never searched for "free cell phone". Could just be a lousy niche to convert.

First of all, you will never make a profit with .25 bids on zip submits. I have done some extensive experiments with zip submits in the past. The only way I was able to make a profit on them was using the poll method ( make a poll concerning a hot current event and reward participation with a free ipod or whatever)

You can use the poll method and run it on the content network. I was paying .02 to .05 a click and making a small profit.

If you write a good ad and use a hot current event, you won't have a problem with CTR. Zips are good and cheap to learn PPC but don't quit your day job to run them.

EDIT: Another obstacle will be finding a zip submit that isn't being scrubbed to death. Always use the new zips that show up on your affilate network and keep rotating offers.

It is possible to make good cash with zip/email submit on search but you need more than a good ad. I made over $1,000 last 10 days with one zip submit.

you need:
1. cheap traffic - do not use keywords like "free iphone" for free iphone offer. with CPC higher than $0.10 (for zip/email submit) you can't make 100%+ ROI. You have to be more creative.
hint: use google hottrend and try to match new keywords with offers.

2. converting offer - offer that will attract your demo and will not scrub you after one day. You need min. 20% CR so your EPC will be $0.20-$0.25.

3. landing page - skip it. you can stil send your traffic directly to offer page without direct linking.
hint: make your lp with content around your main KW and use <iframe>offer link</iframe>

Banners biooootch. Will achieve a much higher ctr (than 0% that is)

Find a designer to get you some good animations of the iphone in all its glory, throw it up on some tech sites and basically just keep test test testing.

I agree on the rotating aspect, once you hit a certain amount of leads on a specific email/zip offer your conversions will drop pretty fast. Monitoring your stats with these types of offers are really important.

rotating between offers to avoid scrub will help but also testing different offers to different ads/traffic.

be mindful of the traffic you send to the email submits, depending on the traffic different ads/offers will appeal to different demographics. i know this may sound obvious but a lot of people dont think about this. just something to keep in mind.

also .25 clicks will not work with this, you'd need some ridiculous conversion rate for it to work out.

Those are some nasty boobs. Your probably just as lazy about ppc, as you are about finding quality boobs. That's your problem. You just don't understand boobs.

vlad has something there...

1) If you pick images like those boob pics, you are doomed. ATTRACTIVE imagery FTW, pal. Banners would be a good idea on content network..

#2. I never pay more than .10/click when im doing subs..(which isnt lately)
AND, good luck finding a zip/email sub that wont shave your head and balls off in 24-48 hours, regardless of traffic you send. Theyre all famous for that.

Christ...a guy posts a pick of some big ass tiddys and catches hell for it.

The overall vibe I'm getting here is that these zip/email submit offers are shit. Like I said in the first post, I haven't done much PPC for offers like this, so I'm still figuring out the tricks. What would you all recommend I look for in an offer? I'm not saying pick one out for me, but what do you look for when finding a CPA offer to promote?

- An offer you can be sure to buy cheap clicks for?
- One that pays more than a couple bucks per lead?

Is it a good idea to iframe zip submits? I remember reading something about it but I can't remember if it was good or bad.

I took Murdocnz's advice and iframed the current offer page. Adwords accepts it so I don't see any reason not to do it if you're not wanting to go with a LP.

I thought it might be something with QS or getting banned either from Adwords or the affiliate.
