Frustrating to have popular FB pages with engaged audience but aff links forbidden

FB TOS forbids third party advertisements in posts on FB pages (so can only promote one's own products). Then many advertisers and networks don't allow cloaking, so even if I wanted to risk pissing off FB by I-framing my links, I risk getting banned by networks/advertisers.

So I have all these targeted quality fans sitting on my FB pages and I can't just stick a link in a post to a product.

Is my only choice to go through all the steps of getting them to sign up for my email list or creating a new page on my blog every time I want to pitch a product? Seems so much more time consuming compared to just throwing a direct link on the page. Ugh. Hate FB.

Does facebook actually enforce that though or is it just in the ToS just in case? Do they go and check every submitted link? What are they going to do delete the page and piss off all those fans?

Just create a redirect on your "site"...so that all your links look like they go to the same domain and you'll be fine. I doubt they have an intern checking every "check <<this>> out" post

And really, what's a resource if you don't use it? Is it worth anything if you can't do anything with it? Even if you make a $1 from your affiliate links, that's still a $1 more than you would have made otherwise.

^ Why does voucher codes use bit.ly? The links are just going to the voucher codes site anyway, which FB has no problems with (can link to your own site).

Why don't you just put the CPA offer on a page on your site, have a nice review of it, with star rating and shit, and have links to the CPA offer all over that page, and then send your FB users to that page? Or am I missing something? Are you trying to be lazy?

^ That's the way to go IMO. Everyone here likes to talk about building a community and Fanpages are a great starting point for that IMO. Next step is a site that has content related to your fanpage which you can monetize however you want, CPA offers, Adsense, subscriptions, etc.

Not lazy, just trying to maximize ROI. Creating a page/review takes much more time than throwing a link up with some decent copy on a FB page. This becomes important as I create more and more FB pages.

But at the moment I'll try your approach for a few products and see how that goes.

Are you serious? I post cpa offers to my fanpages all the time... I just host them on my domain since all network tracking links are typically banned. I've been doing it for a long time on a lot of pages, like 40, and they haven't stopped me yet.

If you are a legitimate entity who has a relationship with another legitimate company, who the fuck is Facebook to tell you that you can't implement a nonintrusive technology solution to track and monitor conversions that result from your social media co-promotions. They don't give a fuck bout that.

If you're doing some spammy shit that adds no value, floods and devalues newsfeed, and ultimately damages their user experience than they won't like you.

Catch a fish, think like a fish.

Creating a page reviewing a product also significantly boosts conversion rates.
