Sold my domain last year. Canceled the domain following their procedure. Yet i received an invoice for a domain that i no longer own.

Well, pretty much had same type of problems with Hostgator, but more on the hosting part.

I will never used them again.
 
stopped using 1and1 like 4 years ago... the worst customer service ever experienced...
they are the "net benefit" of domain sellers...
 
Yes! I registered a domain with them 3 years ago and decided not to use them thereafter. It's one of the worst company. Fuck them
 
Take a look at their Facebook sometime. It's nothing but complaints and legal threats.

Based on our records, the domain was renewed before it was canceled.
Domain was renewed on 01/07/2011 and it was terminated on 01/08/2011.

i don't understand how they are still in the business, i have been only hearing horror stories and bad reviews about them year after year since 2005.
 
i use netfirms for cheap domains. thats lame won't use them. not fond of godaddy either so expensive
 
thers a sucker born every minute, and 1and1 are like a massive fishing net for all these suckers, they dvertise is noob magaznes ike computeractive bought by people wgho make noob website in frontpage, to upload.
 
Many customers have complaints about their service as they keeps very poor customer assistance system.
