Fuck Facebook

I'm sure a lot of people will drop out after all this bullshit (I've seen damages hurting my network).

I'll still persist. There will always be money to be made on Facebook Ads - that's for sure.

Keep on pushin'. Facebook is still a profitable traffic source and hopefully soon these fraudulent clicks will not be valid.

As others said, even tho it's a pain most of the time, people will keep at it and keep spending money with fb as long as it's profitable. I know I will

I agree there is always money to be made on FB. My reasoning is however there are so many hours in a day and only so much work that can be done a week. To maximize profit you should spend that time doing the things that bring in the most money possible. I believe now there are other traffic sources out there that can generate more profit per time spent on them than FB currently.

I'd rather spend my time with those first before I work on FB traffic. It's like I can make money spamming craigslist by hand, it still doesn't mean I'm going to go do it though.

As a FB user I find that the ads are not bad; I actually do click on the ones that catches my eye. I do not do that for google adwords. Maybe it is the photo that accompanies the FB ad that makes the difference.

To me, it's all about return on effort. We focus so much on return on investment, but think about your time, and your stress levels. You could work hard tweaking and optimizing a fb campaign, get a great CTR ad and bank for a day, and the next day they retroactively disapprove it. Not worth the frustration, at least for me.

The other issue with fb is no campaign lasts forever, even if they don't dissaprove it. CTR drops day by day, you get lower impressions, and if your getting a lot of volume you will deplete your target martket, conversion rates drop along with CTR.

To me, it's all about building upon yesterdays work. There are so many traffic sources out there that don't put you back at square one every week.

Plus in the niches that do work and are allowed on facebook click costs are way out of control. I was bidding 85 cents a click just to get shity volume even with a .18 CTR, in one demographic.

Currently facebook is on corporate welfare from the small business people that they have duped into thinking they will get a return on their investment on facebook. With fb's anti affiliate attitude and the current crop of useful idiot small bizs advertising there, lets face it to a large extent we have been pushed out.

I agree, it's just about persistence at this point.

I guess it's time to bring out the big guns to get some ads approved.

It's just almost hilarious at how anal Facebook has become since launch. This thread isn't about telling everyone to fuck off and give up it's just me calling out this juvenile-ran PPC network that does not give 2 shits about it's advertisers - hence, Fuck Facebook.

hope you all filled in your facebook customer survey today???

i was right with it until the second last question. "do you consider yourself to be an affiliate/lead generator.."

shit. thats my opinion in the bin then. :(

Just wanted to throw that out there.

Reasons:
- Click fraud
- Carelessly mass-disapproving campaigns with no disregard (even if they are *legitimate campaigns within Facebook guidelines*)
- Carelessly mass-banning of accounts w/ no chance for appeal
- Horrible support for advertisers. No option for 1-on-1 representative support, even when spending heavily (>$30k/day) - they simply do not give a shit.
- Cannot "reply" to emails received from the bullshit "affiliates@facebook.com" email - I asked them to change that and they pretty much said "fuck no"
- Support queries gone days without response
- Support carelessly responds to emails and 50% of the time they do not even complete the tasks that you had asked them to in the initial support query
- too many damn hurtles to jump through just to get a campaign running
- Douchebag representatives - I won't name drop, but there are several DOUCHEBAGS Facebook representatives that don't give 2 shits about you even if you have dough to spend
- Anal advertiser guidelines - too much reliance on their automated system that punishes advertisers whom Facebook users "thumbs down" - since when the fuck is advertising given so much control to the users? There is literally no checks and balances for this type of system and has made many campaigns unproftiable and weak because of it
- Overall the NUMBER 1 pain-in-the-ass traffic source I have EVER worked with, hands fucking down

Anyone else have any beef with Facebook that they wanna vent?

Fuck you Facebook!

Yah.. F facebook... run my ring tone campaign .. charge me $568.00 in 2 days.. and then disapprove my campain WTF
