Fuck this I'm switching banks

I have run out of banks and phone companies.

I really like small local banks, because they appreciate my business more, but it seems like every single one I use gets bought by some corporate behemoth, fires all the hot young tellers who were good at flirting with the high balance and replaces them with 45 year old pissed off divorcees who hate that I have more money in the bank than they could hope to make.

Shit John,,, I have the same issue with my bank,,, every new person wants to hold checks from companies they dont know. How the hell would they know these companies unless they moonlight as a WebMaster/ Forum troll? LOL.. but the lady actually asked me one time if I printed the Google Check on my home computer. Fukn asshats...

Yeah, when I bring in my $26 affiliate checks I always get strange looks... jealously will do that I guess.

By the way, that avatar is hot as hell! Probably the best I have ever seen.

I can't believe this shit. I get my adsense cheque today (I know, I know, I really should switch to wire transfers) and I head over to the bank to cash it. I get to the business services teller and I don't recognize her, she must be new. I give her my cheque and ask her to deposit it into my account, she then looks at the cheque and gives me a really funny look, like shes never seen that much money before....

Had the EXACT same problem... only my AdSense cheque was quite small. Happened twice I think.. they're like "Hmm... Gooo-Gollll. Interesting. Have you used this 'company' before?"

I couldn't tell if she was joking or not. I was like so surprised and almost speachless. LOL.. omg.. I forgot! Then get this! So I say "Really? Google? You haven't heard of Google? Heh... well, it's a huge internet company... like Amazon..." I said Amazon because I had assumed they'd get some people cashing Amazon cheques there as opposed to maybe some other cheques.

And she just stares at me blankly like I'm crazy..

I went to cash my YPN check a few months ago and the lady was like, "Why in the world would Yahoo send you a check though? I'm sorry but I can't accept this."

So I left.

lol

yeah i get weird looks too sometimes.. not from google checks because i dont get any of those but other aff. programs.. they tell me i need to wait 30 days for it to clear. luckily a few of them know me up there so i havent had to wait for the cash in a long time.

no one here parties with their bankers on the weekends?

probably better that way banker chicks are the worst form of gold diggers. They're gold diggers that know EXACTLY how much money you make.

Why the hell didn't you ask for the manager? You're a damn client, grow a backbone and stand up for yourself - that's no way on their part to talk to a client. That clerk would've gotten at least a good hose-down and would think again before disputing stuff just because they feel like it.

Never had any problems like this myself...:yin-yang:

Because I could go somewhere else? LOL.

My wife used to work for Bank of America. I can tell you they scare the hell out of their employees telling them about all types of scams. So their first reaction is always, when in doubt to ask someone. It wasn't meant to insult you. It's just how they are trained.

She used to tell me about some really weird but extremely clever scams, especially check floating. It's like an art.

So really her only offense was not knowing what Google is, which is bad enough :)
