On Dr. Howe's link of $600 in free advertising, ARZ posted this:

"Make it $700 after you include this $100 credit for Yahoo:
Pay Per Click Ads from Yahoo! Search Marketing (formerly Overture)"
(link removed to protect the innocent)

Following the link brought me to the following domain:
https://login.marketingsolutions.yahoo .com
(link removed to protect the innocent)

It would not "confirm" my credit card info - there was a problem - but they did send me an e-mail verifcation which came from this e-mail address:
customersolutions--ysm@cc.yahoo-inc.com

Was I just phished like a goddamn trout? And if I was, ARZ I'm going to whip your goddamn ass!

the .cc in the e-mail address scared the fuck out of me. and, i signed up for msn no problem 2 minutes before this.
lol you got stooged

i had trouble signing up for a $50 promo yahoo was having a little while back, i was at my girlfriends watching her house for the weekend and she has aol.. and i couldnt get it to complete. But then i remembered sometimes her internet says your in a different country. So i went home and did it and it worked. I dont know if it was just random or not.

I signed up for Yahoo! a while ago... They didn't approve my ads... and then I forgot my username/password... and I tried to use the recover password form and kept getting a "username must be 6-20 characters" message... even though it is 11 characters long...
I got an email saying its not deactivated for inactivity... I guess I'll have to try again, lol

I just signed up using the link ARZ gave, but I didnt get any promo $$$. They only charged me for 5$ though

Yeah, it looks like they changed it around within the last 12/24 hours... now the signup creates an account on the new Sponsored Search platform. I just created a new once myself, so I'll see if/when the $100 gets credited.

well it seems i got a negative rep because of my post.. the offer i signed up for was US only so it kept not wanting to go through and accept my credit card. Everyone that has had aol knows that sometimes other sites think youre in a different country.

Some of the coupons may be prepaid deals. They charge your card first and then reimburse you. This is what happened on several $50 MSN and Yahoo ads I signed up for awhile ago.

FYI, my account now shows the $100 credit with a date of 12/13 (one day after I created the account). :)
