Funny thing: looking on google for some kind of witty response, I discovered that this thread is at the top of the page for keyword 'fucking electricity'. John should totally capitalize on it. Bet he'd make bank.

I lost electricity for 18 hours earlier this week because of the blizzard in Maryland. We had to put all of our food out in the snow so that it wouldn't spoil.
if it looks like my electricity is going to be out for more than an hour or two i'm usually headed for a hotel.

Hahaha. Yea, had that happen too a couple years ago too. It was a bloodbath.
We lost electricity for 38 fucking days in '98 'cause of an ice storm; it actually was pretty much like mid 1900's. It was good times though; cooked pretty much everything on the bbq and the woodstove.
