Has anyone else had a shitload of campaigns slapped over the last 2 weeks? It looks like they're hitting sites by vertical one after the other starting about 2 weeks ago and still slapping strong.

:repuke:

Yeah, I got slapped too. I turned the other cheek, got slapped again. Cruel. I wish I could slap back. Like destroy one of their data centers or something. :ak:

So what kind of campaigns are getting slapped? Direct links, thin sites, is anyone having a bigger site getting slapped?

Clicks stopped around 8:30 this morning. All three were thin landing pages. Ads were running on the content network.

Damn!

In an attempt to try and save this thread max....

Got hit. Stuff returning to normal now. New Domain + Campaign seems to do the trick.

They are manually reviewing lots of ads right now... Images + Text / Search + Content network. Look at your referrals to see the reviewers search string, will look like this:

Redirect Notice

The most search we do is on auto quote. Our website with a ton of content on it and special efforts were put into making a LP with lots of content on it was slapped. On the other hand, our domain in the same space with the sexy domain name (short/old domain) and no content beyond of form did fine. Weirdness.

Thanks for the save. I have a few different theories about getting hit. I've seen that search string in the past but not recently.

I'll pm you about ASE.

How long does the review take?

For content network campaigns, that are under review will they eventually send me an email rejecting the ads or will it just never get impressions again?

I have no problem with new domain+campaign, but I don't want to get my 4year old adwords account banned either.

Are you guys finding that its best to delete old campaigns and adgroups with the kw's that were working and inserting them into new campaigns and adgroups...or are you guys pausing them and starting new campaigns and new adgroups...

So far, i had 1 adgroup get hit...but all other adgroups and campaigns are ok...for now at least!

But like aim said - get a new domain and re-upload the campaigns.

I don't know about others but this didn't work for me. G gave me impressions for 1 day then slapped me again on new domains. I think you need to change your keywords in order to avoid immediate re-slap.

On the other hand the sites that got slapped were really thin so I can't really complain.

My campaigns got slapped a week ago; they were all thin sites. Indeed, Google is being a little picky these past few weeks.

At this rate, they will slap themselves. I hope they do, they're out of control now.

I've been suspended for no reason twice now, and the support offers no help what so ever!

I did a quick search, and it seems thousands of people have been unfairly banned and there is nothing we can do about it. This giant is out of control, and some one (Yahoo + MSN I hope) shoot it down.
