Event venue rental is a seriously competitive business -- unlike most other aspects of event businesses, venues have a huge fixed expense and a non-scalable supply (ie. you can't provide more venue by hiring a few more employees or buying a new piece of equipment for your venue business) and as such are huge capital investments. Each rental operation has to do whatever it can to stand out from the competition.
Georgia has some incredible natural scenery, with mountains and forests in northern part of the state, and 200 miles of Atlantic Ocean coastline; plus classic cities like Savannah, metropolitan Atlanta and a decent riverboat tourism industry to boot. There is a huge pool of advertisers for a directory or similar site there, and that was the eventual plan for this domain -- it just never made its way to the top of my dev queue.
