I have mixed feelings right now..

For one site this bumped me up 3 positions..

for another very similar style site... this took me from 12 to 42.. I will wait to see if it bounces back.

Hi Doug,

Sounds like you've been caught up in the Google dance. Usually when this happens, it will come back but in a better position.

Please keep me posted so I can see what goes on.

Thanks!

Hey Everybody!

I wanted to inform you a new feature that we have implemented for NPP.

As you may have noticed, that your recent posts go to 200 domains a piece now instead of the 650+. Not we still do have our 650+ in the system but let me explain this new measure that we have taken.

We let you post to 200 blogs at a time because this will give you much better link variety per article you submit. This means you won't be submitting your content to the exact same blogs over and over again! This should help with SEO as well as making the network stronger. What it does is it pull 200 domains from our system at random so you are never using the same domains over and over.

Like I said, this will help the integrity of the blogs throughout the network because there will be a high mixing of different posts in different categories.

Another benefit is that your articles will begin to start posted faster (when the que catches up with yourself). We also considered that your links will now not be oversaturating every blog and your articles will look more natural as well. This measure will also cut down duplicate content throughout the network with should equal to better indexing.

Last but not least, a VERY well spun article will product around 200 original versions anyway. Now, we do plan on to make the 200 number staggered to make it look more natural as well. For instance, you post a new spun article, and it will go on between 165 to 235 sites and so forth.

What we do NOT want you to do, is to submit the same article multiple times to get on those 650+ domains with that one article. One, since the system pulls at random, you will surely double up on some blogs and it will in reality do you no good. Duplicate articles will NOT help you. So only submit a SPUN article ONCE, then if you want to promote the same website again, then submit a NEW spun article about that site.

Duplicate submissions will NOT be tolerated. It's better for the network and for our users.

Thanks for understanding!

I'm on the verge of signing up but some of what you've mentioned doesn't make sense to me.

How does limiting it to 200 domains give us more link variety than having it go out to 600 domains?

If I submit an article (first blast) and it goes out to 220 domains and then I submit a completely new article (2nd blast) and it goes out to 214 domains and since they are all randomly picked, the new article might only be placed on 53 new domains (example) that weren't already hit by the first blast.

In this scenario we could be submitting many articles without knowing if we already hit all the domains in your system. And there's no point in getting the same links again from the same domains.

Seems unnecessarily complicated. How about a simple drip feed system like all the other networks?

User can submit to all 650+ sites in the system. But the articles don't go out at once to all 650 sites. Drip feed each article out at 1 to 25 domains every day (user choice). That would lessen queue time while still maintaining integrity.

if i sign up for 1month, publish my articles on your network and then after 1month cancel the subscription, then will my postings remain in your network?

No problem now

It is become more slowly ,but i think it is good for seo.

thank you

Yes, we have had a higher volume of posting lately, but in my opinion compared to many other networks, we are still able to get our customers articles posted in a timely fashion.

Remember, we do this for better Google indexing and other SEO reasons as well.

Thanks!

Ok, after taking a lot of things into consideration, we have pulled the tab on the 200 domains, so now every post that you make will go to 600+ domains like we originally advertised.

Everybody will get an email about this change and an update on the new posting algorithm that we have put in place.

See the quote above that I have just responded to. You will be receiving an email in the next 24 hours or so to get a full update.

Thanks!

I have to agree - we are not too happy about the number of target domains dropping 600+ to 200 ... it is not what we signed up for - we will have to see how it goes ...

Just noticed this now on the last article we have posted 600+ , also the backlog has gone and articles are getting posted very quickly ... :O) FAB !

Suggestion to help keep things real - how about putting a minimum 'unique-ness' level in for each article - i.e. the user has to hit an minimum of 85% spin?

Cheers

Well, the backlog is still there, but it's now throws the first come first serve biast out the window. Meaning everybody each will have some of their posts syndicated everyday until they get all their domains for each original article they submit.

Also, we are thinking of the doing one of two things. Either making a minimum uniqueness level, OR the amount of blogs you get for each post, depends on how unique your article is. For example. If you create an article but it only created 53 different articles then you get 53 domains, or maybe 246 different articles then you get 246 domains, or maybe 678 different articles and so forth. So we may just leave it up to the user that controls how many domains they get. Hard work pays off right?

I would like to know your thoughts on this.

Thanks.

I actually like this a lot. I spent A LOT of time spinning my articles and it would be nice for my work to pay off with better blog networks. A combination of uniqueness and amount of blogs would be great.
