getting accepted to YPN

I've tried 3 times now, with 3 different sites, and cannot get accepted to YPN. What the hell am I doing wrong? The 3 sites

image hosting site
seo artices site
celebrity photos/biography site


what were your sites like that got accepted?
 


Try a more unique topic with original content and not tons of ads all over. Don't make the site trashy looking.

The topics you listed fall into some categoris:
img host: low quality clicks/traffic
seo: very common in ypn/gads
celeb: another common/low quality site

That's just my opinion atleast ;)
 
I was accepted in to YPN about a year ago with a Blogger blog, so you might try that too.

Thats good advice, build a small website built around a tight niche, lay it out well and also ad unique content. I got accepted easly with a small tight niched site.
 
yeah good point adsense loser. maybe that's it. well the image hosting thing is a really nice looking website and when I put it in for YPN it had no ads. It's just frustrating is all hehe I'll work around a new topic website and see what I can do
 
Hey Pileofcrap, (lol)

1) Either have no ads at all, or have 1... just one prominently placed google adsense block.

2) you are selling them on your future ability to bring them long-term cash. Though there is money to be made in all those niches, there is money in each of those niches, but there is a ton of competition - most are "me too" sites that will never get traffic. You want them thinking you are a "top dog" rather than a bottom-feeder.

If you really love one of those niches, and want to get into YPN, create an industry news portal about one of those niches. Say... image hosting sites - interview owners of top sites, talk about where the industry is going, what stuff do image hosting sites need, blah blah blah.

That, my friend, will get you into YPN.
