Getting around Facebook Approval Process

Hey guys,

Just wondering what you guys do to get around the facebook approval process. It looks like they don't allow iFrames. Do you get one version of your landing page approved, and then switch it for another, slightly shady one?

As you can see this is my first fortay into FB ads. Any help is greatly appreciated.
 


That's a good way to get your account banned.

If I get an ad denied, I just keep resubmitting it. One of their interns eventually slips up and approves it.
 
Ahh I see, fair enough.

The disapproval notice is quite annoying though, I honestly can't figure out what part of my landing page is getting denied?

Do they allow iFraming of the advertisors landing page? Or even a portion of it?

Eh, they allow direct-linking so there's really no reason to iFrame it unless you're adding your own content somewhere.

You ads are most likely being rejected due to the offer being prohibited content, or some action the target page is taking (ie, when you exit does the site pop up a dialog box telling you that you qualify for SUPER SAVINGS? If so, that's considered trapping the user and facebook will reject it).
 
Ahhhhh damit! I figured out the problem. The offer I'm pushing is only viewable in Canada. I am obviously only targetting a Canadian audience, but the facebook team is viewing from within US. When they check out a direct linked or iFramed ad they end up at some Webfetti page or something. Is there anyway around this? Can I contact the facebook ads team somehow?
 
^^^Yea thats what I thought I should do initially, but that puts me in danger of being banned if they check the ad later.

I've been working on a redirect/cloak script actually. I know facebook checks my ad through the domain intern.facebook.com. So what the script does is check the referrer, and if its intern.facebook.com it shows an iframed page of the site itself, and if the referrer is anything else it redirects to my affiliate link.

Do you guys think that will work? Thanks!
 
How would that get you banned?
Your just changing the adress from xyz.com to xyz.com/youraffid.

Cloaking will work, but its more riskier than the the obvious method.

And next time, keep your posts in the facebook thread
