Today my AdBrite stats say that 200 people have clicked one of ads, however, according to adsense I've only had around 40 impressions on that particular page. Similar stats have happened the past two days. If I dispute this to AdBrite and provide proof (stats) will I be refunded somehow? Has anyone else had similar problems with AdBrite?

Do you do any tracking of your own?

Edit: I mean besides your stats in adsense.

I run both Google Analytics and 103Bees...

I called them and all they could tell me was to email my stats to support. I'm sure it will take forever to dispute this

The clicks a network reports, and what you receive will NEVER match with anyone. That being said, there shouldn't be more than a 10% discrepancy.

I haven't used them so I don't know how long it would take but with others I've had refunds with in a day or two.

I had the worst time with Adbrite. They were terrible in all areas for us. I doubt everyone would have this experience, but their reporting never worked correctly for me, either.

yeah, i had that proplem with their pay per click ads. Huge differences in the amount of clicks i paid for and the amount fo page views on my site. i stopped using them

They are quick phone calls get answered in under 2mins always

Just email support with your stats, because they are a real company with a process of how things get done and you have to comply with it, if you dont or get angry then they have the upper hand

Also why not use the paid txt links? You can get placement on sites for 40cents a month

And with some arbi I see a better ROI then anywhere else with simple txt links from adbrite, try that out as well.

I have never requested a refund from a PPC campaign, as I have not used them very often. They are normally bad traffic.

Worth trying.

I have contacted them about someone who was trying to boost up their traffic through fraudulent means in order to charge unspescting advertisers more in the future, and they refunded for the campaign and removed them from the system.

I've given up on adbrite... I've had more issues there than anywhere else, click fraud, double billing, getting chinese traffic when I'm geotargeting US only, etc etc etc.... I wont ever go back there.

This thread is right on the money. ADBRITE IS TERRIBLE!

Their stat reporting is horrible, horrible, horrible. I cannot stress that enough. Worst. Stat. Reporting. Ever.

I got frustrated with them quickly and quit using them after a couple months.

if they piss you off bad enough, hire your own indian call center to call/flood them with stupid online advertising questions. i did this with an affiliate who i won't name who stopped crediting my referalls. payback is a bitch.

everywhere i go you are posting the most useless comments..why would anyone waste money just to piss someone off? especially over a few bucks lost? cut your losses while you're ahead...if I knew you were a person who would consider doing that, I'd cut you out of my program as well.

anyways - adbrite is great but only if you are willing to put in the time to research before you jump in. Their PPC program sucks - right down to the targetting features. They let the publishers choose which 'categories' their website fall under, so in theory to get the most bang for my buck I could just list my site under all age groups, all demographs, etc.

That being said, if you are willing to research individual sites (like someone mentioned before, you can buy links for a long time for literally just pennies), then it's worthwhile. Just make sure you check the geo %'s of the traffic, and the repurchase rate of past buyers. Both can be good indecators of how much the link is really worth.

Its reassuring that this wasn't a fluke. Thanks for all the responses.
I cancelled all AdBrite ads and its not surprising to see that I haven't lost revenue/profits. What do ya know? =)

Awesome. :D I didn't notice any profit loss after I stopped using Adbrite either. Unless your site sees over 25k uniques a day, Adbrite really can't do anything for you.

If it were not for adbrite, I might never had made it in affiliate marketing. If you can make it in adbrite, you can make it anywhere.

I think people need to keep a few things in mind. Their broad network PPC campaigns are pretty much worthless.

You can find individual sites that are an absolute bargain in terms of getting traffic and converting them, but it takes a lot of time and energy to sort the two out.

It has been a while since I delved in the Adbrite area, but they are on my list to go back, because I was able to make a pretty decent ROI there.

For someone new, it is not a bad way to get started as if you only do the site advertising, you have TOTAL control over your spend, you can spend very little (I think I started with $20 my first month), and learn the ropes. It is probably the most forgiving of any of the traffic sources I used in getting up and going in Affiliate marketing.

Probably also the reason why I never lost money promoting affiliate offers. I have been profitable from day 1. So it is not all bad, but it can be trying.
