Getting companies to pay

There are two companies right now that owe me approximately $800 each. They just ignore my emails/AIM messages. I'm going to have my business partner call them relatively soon, hopefully he can get our money outta em.

What do you all do to get companies to pay up?

Were you affiliates for them? What is the nature of your relationship with them? Are you dealing with the top person in the company?

All depends on who you do business with. I've had this happen with vendors and networks. Stick with Copeac and people you have relationships and can easily get in contact with on the phone.

Depends on your collateral. You can put them into collections, but thats after about 90 days or more. If you maintain their website, you can always threaten to take it down.

I've been shafted by quite a few companies. Often, if it seems your not going to get paid, you never will. Every once in a while i set up a domain like LookQuickSucks.com (When lookquick withheld my earnings)... made it on front page of google for search of "LookQuick".. It'l make them angry, but they still don't pay.. heh
