I have a question what are the top places to get traffic to arbitrage sites of the sites below:

7search
searchfeed
msn adcenter
google adwords
yahoo overture

What one would be consider good pick to do arbitrage with, or if there are others ones i left out please let me know.

thanks

i tell you i am not liking adwords now and 7search is a pain in the ass now with their lower keyword limits on accounts. takes forever to put campaigns in msn adcenter and then something happens to them after they are running fine for a few days like random budget pauses even tho money is way under. just trying to make the best of things.

Ya the adcenter random budget pausing is a pain in the ass.
Everyday I'm having to resume paused campaigns and they always tend to be the real money makers that get paused too.

Do you have "spread evenly over the month" or the "use it as fast as you can" option turned on. I found that the pauses went away when I had it on an even spread, I just raised my monthly spend and turned on the expiry date so I didn't forget about it.

good idea ehlo. it was on use fast as you can. maybe really it is a bug and not some sinister plot against my wife to pause all the campaigns she sets up.

The new beta for adcenter is also worth a go if anyone here hasn't tried it already, it makes managing your keywords much easier.

I've had low traffic from 7search, but it converts better than the other 2nd and 3rd tier players. No one beats adwords for me.

7search had the best CTR for me - too bad they suck now due to low keyword limits.

Anyone want to make a ton of cash? Make an arb friendly PPC program that actually gets some decent traffic!!

why didn't u take our advice last night and educate yourself first so you wouldn't keep asking stupid questions?

Meh, who knows, maybe I am as stupid as people say... But I did a google search on 'Arbitrage' and returned no useful results to explain it to me. Im the biggest noob on here right now and I have read every frontpage threads on this forum, the problem is the terminology. Cuz I dont understand a word. Bah, I will post less til I 'somehow' know what the hell is going on around here. After all I AM just a regular person, I work at a grocery store, what can you expect? You people to me seem like college grads, maybe people who have done this for years, I only just recently heard of it. I just got into college and as far as I know they dont have any classes for this stuff.

Arbitrage - taking traffic from one source (usually PPC) and sending it to a website specfically designed to get the user to click on one of the ad links on the site.

For example, you sent 1,000 viewers to your site at $0.05 a piece and 30% of them clicked a $0.30 ad unit placed on your site. Total cost for traffic was $50, and revenue was $90... giving you a profit of $40.

In that situation you have completed successful arbitrage (in the online sense).

:)

EDIT: PPC = pay per click advertising. Companies like 7search.com, enhance.com, Google's AdSense, etc.

Hey, yoink, from another affiliate newbie - I appreciate you taking the time out to write a nice, clear, and simple explanation of arbitrage - much nicer than the one over at WikiPedia :D...

msn adcenter random budget pauses

I emailed them about this. They said the budget is divided up by days of the month and if you get towards the end to the month and dont have a high enough budget, you will go on budget pause. All you have to do is raise the budget and it will stop doing that.
