Another Update (26/12/08)

Things are starting to take off a little. There are 3 sites up now and people are getting into the swing of post each day. Here's a round up of everyone who's name I've got down so far:

zmnx73

Site: Learn2SpeakGerman.com
Description: A blog all about learning to speak german (duh!)
So far there are 14 posts on the site and he is in the habit of posting a post per day. All the site setup and plugins are setup and we've added a feedburner RSS2email form. We'll be starting on promoting the site shortly.

kaltes

Site: K9Questions.com
Description: This is a site all about dog training
There are 11 posts so far and again he is also doing a post a day. There are still a few things left that I need to go over with him, explaining about how to use a couple of the plugins and how to check stats etc.

ItsYoBuddy

Site: HipHopInside.com
Description: A site all about hip-hop, a kind of up to date newsy thingy.
Although there are only 2 posts up on the site, there are another 20 posts that I've seen that he's done in the last few days and these will be added to the site once a day for the next few days. We'll be going over promoting the site pretty soon as well.

tweak50

Site: HobbyCooking.com
Description: A cooking site with recipies, guides etc. It's not online yet.

So far I've receieved one 200 word recipie from him. I've asked for the next few to see what they are going to be like and have yet to receive them.

TylerDurden

Site: EcologicalExistence.com
Description: Not online yet

He's in the process of moving from Hawaii to Germany right now, so I'm cutting him a little slack. Once he moves there he'll be doing internet marketing full time so I expect to see a lot of stuff going down with this guy soon.

Gregsdca
Site: FastFitHealth.com
Description: Not online yet

He's done a few aritlces but has been busy with projects in his day job. I've seen a couple of the articles so far and I'm just waiting to see what happens next.

uwstudent
Site: There isn't one
I think he's dead. Not heard a word from him since we first chatted.

DBWebDev has been a great help to me so far. I am very glad I joined on this "program/case study". This has helped me so far and it is just the beginning. I am very glad I contacted him and I can learn so much from blogging. I also needed help with the site, so I contacted someone else. I may be doing something with them also. One opportunity has opened up more to me.

I would like to apologize to DBWebDev for all the "noob" questions because I know it can be annoying and a pain. And like you said, time consuming.

BTW, If any of you could give any feedback on my blog and possibly give some suggestions.

I like the site Yobuddy. It's a simple yet effective theme design, and a nice looking banner. If I could give you any advice, I would say, particularly for your niche you should look at creating a videos page (and just have a link to it underneath the link to the about page in the right column) of Youtube videos, such as hip hop videos etc (as you've already done in your second post).

I'm currently doing it as well (even though its probably not as effective for my niche), and will also add a picture's page to the site as well. I got the idea of glowleaf's blog How to create your first online asset and I know David is a big fan of his way of thinking as well.

Hope I've been of some assistance.

And may I say thankyou to David once again for all his continued help! =)

Thanks zmxn. I was thinking about doing something like that. Maybe make a tab for like mixtapes or something. I would have to think of something that would work. Thanks for the suggestion. BTW I like your site also, very simple but a nice design. Good work.

More feedback is welcomed.
