I usually have my Gmails linked to Thunderbird but this should work great when am not my home machine!

From their official blog - Access two Gmail accounts at once in the same browser - Official Gmail Blog

Now, you can visit google.com/accounts and click the link next to "Multiple sign-in." After you sign into your first account, you can sign in with up to two additional accounts from the new accounts menu in the upper right hand corner of Gmail, then easily toggle back and forth between them. You can even open multiple Gmail tabs — one for each of your accounts.

Please keep in mind that this is a feature for advanced users, and there are a couple things to watch out for:

Finally, was waiting for something like this for 6 months, thanks for the heads up.

Great addition to gmail... it can now do multitasking... minimizing logouts/ins that will save bandwidth.

It would be great if I wasn't so paranoid and thorough about making sure Google doesn't associate my various accounts with each other.

This will really come in handy as I am already using 90% space on primary Gmail account!

I never had a problem with this. Then again I am using a google apps account and a gmail account. But I do no ever since this change it has screwed up google apps ability. Before I could click on documents/calendar in google apps and it knew what to do. Now it prompts me as to whether I want the apps documents or the gmail documents. So I took a step backwards.

I hope that I will find enough reasons to have multiple accounts on gmail in the first place. but I think it is a good thing for people to have all the control they need to create online income.
