gmodules dot com question - what is it?

Hey does anybody know what gmodules . com is all about? I'm going through my placement report for one of my campaigns, and I have no idea. When I go the the url, it reroutes to google's homepage.

what's the scoop?

It's what opensocial apps are hosted on. An app on Myspace or Orkut could have gmodules.com as the url for the app.

It's what the gadget's on the igoogle.com homepage use.
They can also be embedded on random websites.
Your ad is probably being shown on the canvas page of a random gadget.
