GOD DAMNIT CX!

Just got a message that they will be crediting lost revenue. Has anyone ever received credit for lost revenue from a network when they are down like this? I've always been told I would, but never received anything.

I've credited affiliates many times for when pages are down or w/e.

Wow...

No offense but I doubt they will give out a full credit to people who missed out on thousands of dollars. It'll probably be some type of "sorry we screwed you over and didn't contact you" credit amounting to 10% of your spend.

If it's a full credit, I will be impressed.

Not to mention this downtime is longer than it needs to be.

CX credited me just fine last time Easy Tea was down... they took the average daily revenue and credited me for the whole day when Easy Tea was fucked up.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.... you know their contests almost got me a few times. Going from 0 to like 5k a week should win a laptop or something. But then I realized why they have so many contests to begin with.

I went from 5k one week, to 60k the next, and lost.

Well I guess now would be a bad time to call them about the application I put in a few days ago... glad I came on here before calling.

Well every network that I know of has run into downtime problems or tracking problems. The biggest issue with CX is their lack of notification. They should have had their Affiliate Managers contacting affiliates to notify them of the problem. This would have at least had affiliates pause campaigns until the issue cleared. Unfortunately, CX seems to not care enough to provide proper communication. Which in return now cost them many money-earning affiliates.

The whole problem is the communication. Which is unacceptable for this incident.

what are "torrent issues" and how are they "so fucked"?

please explain...short term ok site down no leads etc etc. long term?

the down time has been over 10 hours now. that is a long time for any issue, i wonder how many affiliates are still running dead links.

Just spoke to them.. they'll be back up soon. Problem pretty much solved. I'll let them give you the details instead.
