Anyone else surprised to see Godaddy slinging the .co extensions? I haven't registered one b4, but everyone I have talked to has said they don't rank worth a shit. Any thoughts?

fuck .co and fuck godaddy

true dat. I thought I was the only person that hated godaddy. I still don't understand why they charged me randomly a year ago. I asked them what the charge was for and they didn't tell me why but took the charge off. I didn't mind the $20 charge, just tell me what it was for!

You can tell that Godady is fucked. Their super bowl ads made that company and they donked it off this year. Unless i missed it I think they blew there whole wad on this 1 gay commercial.

Makes perfect sense from their perspective to push this extension because it's similar to .com and your average joe on the street can no longer register the .com he wants.

So he tries another .com he thought of. And another.. no luck. Closes his browser and forgets about his dream of collecting Internet riches and GoDaddy miss out on all that sweet profit they gain when they upsell all their shitty products in the registration process.

For GoDaddy and people like that, it represents a total gold rush all over again. But you guys are a bunch of negative nancies who can't see the upside on anything if it won't rank. They're banking on .co and you're not. Is that the issue?

Yup, they're running out of .com's to sell to casual users. Will be interesting to see if the general public comes to recognize .co or if everyone just types in .com.
