I don't deal well with company's that screw with me, in fact I typically keep writing letters till I get to the top, and that normally solves the problem - and I try and get even. Go daddy denied one of my domain transfers to namecheap - I even payed for another year with namecheap.

They claim "
Express written objection to the transfer from the Transfer Contact. (e.g. - email, fax, paper document or other processes by which the Transfer Contact has expressly and voluntarily objected through opt-in means)."

Really? I haven't seen anything from them like this. So my reply to godaddy.com:

"Dear fucktards,

My domain is over 60 days old and you must transfer it unless you can show proof it has to stay for 60 days. You have shown nothing except to say there is some objection to it, which is news to me as I have received NOTHING. I OWN the Domain.

No wonder I don't buy from you dicks. I don't have the time of day to play you shitty games.

Frankley it takes long enough to transfer this shit, so get your move on.

-rage9

P.S. YOU FUCKING SUCK. Deal with it, no wonder you guys have a bad rep in the industry."

That P.S. was thrown in there just to make them relise how much they suck, and I'm kinda drunk so right now they can eat my balls.

Rant Done.

OUT.

My other domains that I bought from other people got denied also. Must be some stupid clause when you transfer a domain to someone else that you can't transfer it away to someone else for 60 days, which is bull shit.

Looks like I have some more angry letters to right. :] Not the first or the last time I guess.

Edit: I hope they do eat shit and die though! :P

This is general protection freely offered by the registry ;)
Anyway this 60-day rule applies to every registrar. So GD is not to blame here.

It really does keep getting better. Let's see how far I can go!

Godaddy answer:
"Thank you for contacting Online Support.

Please note that this is a professional forum. All correspondence must be kept at a professional level. We will not tolerate profanity. If you continue to use profane language, we will consider this issue closed."

Response to their last e-mail:

Dear support,

I would almost be happy if you closed this issue because there looks like you can do nothing about it, so who cares. Your service sucks, your site sucks, and that's just the way it is I guess [again not trying to use any kind of "profanity" because you guys will get you panties up in a bundle.] You also rape people out of money for your services, such as privacy on your domain, others *cough*namecheap*cough* [whom is a much better registar than you are] do it for nothing if you buy or transfer your domain to them - but you charge at LEAST 6.99 per domain which as I see is a total rip-OFF! How anyone stays with you I have no idea, because your service sucks. So when the time comes I can, and will, even pay extra to get the domain off your hands, I mean you guys don't care. Other places want my money and I'm willing to give it to them because, there interface is better [seriously you have a terrible interface] and their support is better, and they are faster.

Futher-more I don't get why you would write "We look forward to serving you in the future!" because after what I wrote that is a damn lie. Your not the first big company I have had to deal with and damn it - you won't be the last. So quite while your ahead - k?

As a PISSED off Hot headed Irishman, who has lived through 5 decades of fights, I can honsetly tell you, being nice works WAY better then being a asshole. It is their world brother, GoDaddy gives a shit about your one domain. Getting their attention through the use of profanity only makes them care even less.

Personally I only deal with Moniker, bulkregister or namecheap.

Some friends of mine who run a forum have finally had enough of godaddy and are looking for a substitute. This only adds to all the crap I hear about godaddy. I think I know one company to stay away from now.

Hi, Rage9.

I've had no problems with godaddy.
Professionalism and niceness is WAY more effective! If you want them to be professional, maybe you could take the first step and be professional yourself.
I hope for your letters to them you slow down and check your spelling (we don't care here of course).

FYI right-opposite of left
write-a way to communicate information

Education, Professionalism and politeness is the key to solve any problem, once you learn that your life will become much easier.

Somebody has anger problems...good luck dealing like this with everyone you do business with online, you'll get far.

I've used go daddy for several years. They are the only company that I have never been inclined to switch. I haven't been able to find a hosting company that I am truly happy with yet, and every time I need to change nameservers or move domains to other accounts, they are right on top of it. No hassle, ever.

I work in the webhosting support business, so let me tell you a little secret: If you're rude/obnoxious when requesting support, I will purposely put off helping you. Maybe I'll go grab a sandwich, maybe I'll watch some Iron Chef, who knows. If I have 27 open issues, yours will be the last one I deal with.

Some of you are taking this a little to seriously me thinks. The first one was, well just stupid. I was totally tanked [I didn't even know what I wrote till I looked in the morning] and I didn't know I had to wait 60 days to get my domain transfered - yeah not totally in the right mind.

Then the next night, I repeat against my better judgment - I'm normally not such a dick but two drama filled nights at the bar. Ah booze, I do love you, but I do think I really owe them - and all of you - an apology for posting this.

Very sorry.
