And one of the things that suggested was to exploit webmasters who underestimate the worth of their sites, and get cheap links from them.
I did a search for "my keyword" +sponser us / +advertise
And found a list of sites in my niche who are giving away banner space.
My target market is UK(mainly) Europe (secondary) and US (tertiary), 90% of my sales are UK basically.
There's a good site Pr3, Alexa:33,001, it's charging 900 philipine pesos for a month worth of banner advertising which is about 11USD.
It's unlikely the poor philipino people will able to afford my prices, and I'll probably get 0 sales from it. Ruling out any possible direct sales from this, I'm thinking what opportunities there are from benifiting from a backlink (possibly a dofollow backlink)
But it's a banner advert and not an anchor text link, will it have the same effect seo wyse?
He's sent me his analytics report, he gets 100,000 uniques a month, 80,000 monthly are philipino.
1122 monthly uniques UK
12256 monthly US/Canada/Germany uniques (no other european country listed).
And do you think it's worth it?
