good website/niche idea??

I would like to make a website custom tailored towards alcohol addiction, prevention, and recovery.

I would like to focus on recovery programs outside the traditional "A.A. 12 step approach"

as well as provide health information such as alcoholism and depression, vitamin deficiency, and exercise.

Does this sound like a good niche to get into affiliate marketing with? If you were to run with this niche what products would you try to promote? and what do you think the success would be?

Sure that could work. Perhaps pick an angle or specific philosophy about recovery.

My suggestion would be that do email marketing. I mean offer something for free in exchange for their email address. And you can send them daily or every second day something to help cure their addiction.

Addiction space isnt the cheapest to test... you have several of the rehab centers bidding $20+ a click because a conversion to them is worth $20k+

I always wonder how the hell an atheist uses the 12 step program. They must just pretend the higher power bit. Wait I think everyone else does too they just don't admit it.

So there you go, that could be your niche. Recovery for atheists.
