Good wordpress theme/plugin for amazon? (not review style, or ecommerce)

Hi there, I'm just setting up a site at the moment that I'm planning to monetize using Amazon. It's a short tail that gets 500k phrase match searches a month, so I'm putting a bit more thought and effort into it than I usually would.

Can anyone recommend something that would convert well on a site with just general articles about a niche? I'm not looking to review individual products. I've never worked with the Amazon affiliate program before.

this should be fairly obvious for you: find out what type of traffic this is based on referrer mainly then split test some "general" products as you stated and pick the winner. you are not going to get a "correct" answer here as there is no such thing. good luck with your rankingings!
