Yeah and if you got a system in your car like Parrot Asteroid Smart you can have Waze function like a regular 'ol nav system. Even better actually because it tells you about cops on the road and traffic, etc...
Is it possible google was utilizing Waze and somehow had to stop about 6 months ago? I use the maps all the time and have noticed degradation in googles maps results over that time period.
Yea .. WAZE is cool. Traffic / police road blocks / accidents are all realtime.
But it drains the battery like mad... G will not know the place you visit offline, if you dont sign in when using waze (they may track the ip though)..
