Google Display Network approval time?

Hey guys,

I'm trying my first AdWords Display campaign, and have had a bunch of banner ads pending review for nearly 24 hours. Is this normal?

What should I expect in terms of approval time? I'm hesitant to contact support because I don't think it will accomplish a damn thing

You're right about support

Last bunch I uploaded in August on a fresh account took almost 3 weeks...May have been coincidence but I actually went back and uploaded a text ad in the group about 21/2 weeks in as an experiment - they were approved immediately and started running, and all the image ads were also approved/running by the the next day. Might be worth trying.

If they don't get approved within 24 hours, I usually delete them and resubmit.

I find the smaller the audience, the faster the approval. Like targeting CITY is under 12hrs where as COUNTRY is usually 12-72hrs.

I only upload 10-20 ads a month on Google though so it might just be a coincidence.
