Hi, people! I have been at the IM game for about 15 months now, and still not made any money - even though I had 2 sites on page one of Gagga, different niches but reasonable searches (9000 and 6000).
What I discovered yesterday via Alexa is that I had in fact had 83,000 annual searches and last month 15,000.
However, 96% of these came from my country - South Africa, a Broke-dick country.
The sites are hosted in Germany, and my marketing has been targeting USA.
So here`s my question: how do I get traffic from USA or UK or anywhere that has customers who can afford the products?? (ie circumvent google)

It seems as though Gargle is deliberately nailing me?

Did you check Google insights to see what countries are searching for this term? Google does not care enough to personally nail you it's probably something you've done.

For instance I used to own the emd of this term only to find out most of the volume was coming from SA (now shows Jamaica too)

Google Insights for Search

Yes its always best to check the demographic of a certain keyword traffic source to determine the best monetization option which will have high success rate.

Hosting isn't a big issue, I've always used US companies and done well elsewhere. You just need to set the target in GWT and pick up a local tld.

Since penguin, Google is going mad about local so that tld is very important. For example, the .co.uk's are all over the front pages here, whilst checking on a Canadian proxy for some terms I saw those .ca's doing the business.

build a real business, not be an affiliate.

I've partnered with a bricks and mortar business to create a UK based service..

SEO is unheard of in these small bricks and mortar business niches.

I've currently got 3 different websites with different phone # and address (redirection address), and youtube listing ranking on page one.

Going to take up spots 1,2,3,4 hopefully, perhaps even get double pages ranked for some of these websites.

Completely dominating the kw, it's funny seeing the same people email us for quotes. haha.

I made diddly squat as an affiliate. But this business is doing well. All my links are completely whitehat. I hired a outreach virtual assistant to do all the linkbuilding. I got them to contact other website for backlink offers and hired a writer to write guest posts.

You won;t find me buying stupid SEO services from BST, the same shit done to death which sticks out like a sore thumb on the backlink reports and makes it soooo obvious to Google that you're just buying links and generating your own backlink trees. LOL get your backlinks from private blog networks which is like a cesspool of completely unrelated links and content all pointing to affiliate websites.. yeah reaaaaal natural.

Most importantly, I'm building a real business and take a cut of the profits.

To Medway + shifatbd: thanks, but the demographics are right.
To Incantation: Thanks for info.
To TigerUK : I believe there is plenty to be made via affiliate, but thanks.
To Mrelki59: Yes, possible.
To Insomniac: Very helpful, you prick! Instead of being a lameass, why don`t you offer some advice??
To Prashant W: If I did, how did I do it? I did actually ask for help. It would seem that some of you guys are way too full of yourselves. No wonder the World is going to hell in a handbasket.

Yes, Insights is showing most of the traffic is in the US/UK.To be honest haven`t done tracking via analytics - will do that in new week.

By lower volume site I think you mean eg 6-9000 monthly searches for a targeted keyword?

According to the stats I saw on Alexa, last month I apparently had more than 15,000 visits to my new site, whose keyword search term has more than 45 million USA searches.

This site has been up for about 7 weeks now, and two pages are ranking at no.s 105 and 106 respectively.

A note; when I started I set up a website, and then set up subdomains - was my cheaper option, working with minimal money. It is these subdomains that is attracting the traffic.

One of my sites is currently sitting on page 1 google, monthly keyword searches 9000, but still no sales.

One of my sites was at no.3 on google, mthly k-word searches 6,000 - since penguin it disappeared, but is on Bing page 1 at no.2 - also still no bidness!

I do actually know how to SEO etc - rankings are proof.

Medway, here`s a question: is it worth my while to buy traffic, and if so, who should I buy from? Have looked at a few sites, have in fact bought a "starter pack" of 1,000 visits for less than $4.00 - as a tester.

If this is the way to go, then I will do it.

Thanks again.

Maybe the phase is mostly searched by people from your country?

Maybe it's just Alexa being wrong? Get a US proxy or VPN and test to see where you really rank on the search pages.

Hey Faggots,

My name is John, and I hate every single one of you. All of you are fat, retarded, no-lifes who spend every second of their day looking at stupid ass pictures about SEO. You are everything bad in the world. Honestly, have any of you ever gotten any pussy? I mean, I guess it's fun making fun of people because of your own insecurities, but you all take to a whole new level. This is even worse than jerking off to pictures on WickedFire.

Don't be a stranger. Just hit me with your best shot. I'm pretty much perfect. I was captain of the football team, and starter on my basketball team. What sports do you play, other than "jack off to naked drawn Japanese people"? I also get straight A's, and have a banging hot girlfriend (She just blew me; Shit was SO cash). You are all faggots who should just kill yourselves. Thanks for listening faggles.
